Amanda Moss has been with the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association since July 2017. As Senior Director of Government Affairs, she manages the Association’s federal, state, and local lobbying efforts on issues that affect the residential construction industry. Prior to her position at SNHBA, she worked from the Southern Nevada office of the Retail Association of Nevada as Director of Government Affairs and Public Affairs from 2013-2017. She received the Industry Member of the Year award from the Southern Nevada Chapter of the International Code Council in January 2019 and is on a number of boards and committees on behalf of SNHBA including: Director at Large on the Board of Directors of the Southern Nevada Chapter of the International Code Council; Secretary of the Southern Nevada International Code Council Codes Committee; Member of the City of Las Vegas Building and Enterprise Fund Advisory Committee; Member of the City of Las Vegas Financial Advisory Committee; Amanda graduated the University of Nevada Las Vegas in May 2014 with her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with an emphasis on Anthropology and Psychology. She received her Associates of Arts with High Honors from the College of Southern Nevada in 2012. She is active in her community, coaching little league, volunteering at her local elementary school, and leading community outreach programs at her church.
